What is manual lymphatic drainage?

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic massage technique for reducing edema. It stimulates the lymphatic system to remove excess fluid and metabolic waste products. The length of the treatment depends on the area of the body being treated, such as legs, arms, face, or all extremities (e.g., in the case of lipedema). Sessions can be booked in 60, 45, or 30-minute increments.
