After graduating from high school, I decided to train as a physiotherapist. I heard about osteopathy early on and was completely fascinated by what osteopaths can sense, feel, and treat.
I passed my state examination in February 2015 and subsequently continued my training in manual lymphatic drainage and complex compression therapy. Shortly thereafter, I continued my training in machine-based physiotherapy.
My five-year journey of knowledge began in September 2015.
Unsuspectingly, I threw myself into my osteopathy training, not knowing how much it would broaden my horizons, both professionally and personally. I love anatomy, the delicate interplay within our bodies. Everything is perfectly coordinated. The connections between body, mind, and soul are incredibly strong. Time and again, I was frustrated and asked myself, "When will I know everything?" NEVER.
Our body is like the universe and doesn't share all of its creative knowledge. But that's precisely what makes it so exciting and never boring. Every body has its own history, its own way of functioning—or not functioning.
I'm like a detective trying to figure out why a feature is restricted.
Why isn't this perfect miracle functioning smoothly? What obstacle can I remove to restore the system's flow and ease?
Physiotherapy tends to focus on symptoms. It's also a wonderful treatment for localized trauma or injuries, surgeries, or similar issues. However, if something occurs repeatedly, or the body has multiple problems at once, osteopathy is a perfect method for more successful treatment.
